And we’re back for round two of the masses of Left 4 Dead videos, interviews and previews from E3.

First on the menu is Gametrailers’ offering of a developer commentary by Chet Faliszek in three parts and (if you haven’t seen it yet) a presentation by Gabe Newell. The first commentary consists of Faliszek leading his team through the early stages of Hospital, a point of interest being his explanation of the death penalty system. In part two (below) the team have to endure a “crescendo moment” as they wait for an elevator. And in part three, Faliszek shows off the joyous beeping pipe bomb, drawing maddened zombies to it like moths to a flame.


Next up (below) is an interview with Doug Lombardi by GamingShogun. Lombardi gets asked to give the usual speech about what Left 4 Dead is, before turning to a nearby computer and taking control of Zoe in the Farmhouse campaign. He points out two zombies brawling, talks at length about the addition of filmic effects to the game, and briefly mentions that it’s possible to clear an area of zombies i.e. they don’t keep coming in infinite waves.

Sarcastic Gamer have posted their video interview with Chet Faliszek, containing almost no sarcasm but a lot of enthusiasm. Kotaku have three clips of what they describe as “engrossing” gameplay. Bloggers Keen and Graev have their own gameplay footage. And there are a couple more random videos of gameplay; one on Jeuxvideo.TV and another on Vimeo entitled “Don’t Shoot the Car Alarm”.
