Line-up announcements:
Just a little over two weeks ago

Reason-gaming announced their new Call of Duty 4 line up which consisted of stars from around the United Kingdom, such as ex-Dignitas players

Dale “dales” Jones and

Ben “BeNN” Bell. But now, the team have already disbanded. The main problem seems to be different personalities as stated by

Karl ”Karl” Larkin:

Karl ”Karl” Larkin wrote:
“The usual story. Team mates going behind your back. In the team, we had a few minor problems, with personalities clashing for example. But as far as performance and activity goes, we were probably one of the best teams in the game at the moment. We played five to six days a week. Was all down to clashing personalities. Anyway, it was good while it lasted. A big thanks to Adam and Ben of Reason-Gaming for their fantastic support they have given me over the past year.”
We saw an other surprising move as the Battlefield 2142 squad of

Team Dignitas decided to move to Call of Duty 4, leaving

Team Dignitas with 2 CoD4 sqauds.
If these teams will get to play along side each other under the flag of

Team Dignitas remains uncertain, but the German side of

Team Dignitas looks promising already, having taken in former

SPEED-LINK player

Igor “z1N” Manschin.
Events and their rule sets:
On almost every site even slightly related to the competitive Call of Duty 4 scene you were able to discuss about it: the rule set. With the new 1.3 patch just released, our CoD4 game supervisor has decided to give a spin to our rule set.
Of course, we can’t just leave a big part of the community by themselves, so you now have the ability to set perks ON or OFF.
With the next big LAN event not taking place until the end of February the community will still have all the time necessary to adjust themselves to these new settings.
Also, the BETA version of PAM4 has been released last week. With this mode we don’t need any more fast restarts after one half, and players have all the time they need to ready up.
And last but not least, Call of Duty 4 has a new Qcup in the form of the CrossfireQcup! Every month the best teams out there will have the chance to compete for great prizes in the form of cash and game servers.
