Half-Life 2: Episode 3 will see the first light of day at the E3 Expo this year. E3 ‘08 will be taking place between July 14 and 17 in Los Angeles, California, and will feature such other titles as Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty: World at War, Halo Wars, and loads of other highly anticipated games.

More information can be found right here. It’s worth noting that only the PC and Xbox 360 editions are being featured, leaving the question on whether or not the PS3 will come into play with Episode 3 or not. We all know how Gabe feels about the Playstation…

Update:Kotaku has confirmed this to be false. While many people think that e3.net is the official E3 Expo site, it is not, it is an independent news site run by UGO. It’s unclear where they got their information on Episode 3, but according to Doug Lombardi, it’s simply a “misprint (or something).”
