Shacknews have posted another preview of Left 4 Dead, focussing this time on the enigmatic zombie boss, the witch. The preview contains some detailed description of two encounters with the witch, as well as some intriquing comments from Valve’s Chet Faliszek. Chet had the following to say as an advisement shortly before Shacknews’ first witch take-down attempt:
“The witch will definitely kill somebody,” explained Faliszek. “She’s entirely lethal. Whoever sets her off, she’ll go after that one person and she will kill them. Other creatures, yeah, you can push them away, you can run, you can do all these different things, but she is single-track. She’s going to kill you.”The two encounters are quite revealing, and highlight the witch’s apparent strengths and weaknesses, as well as what rouses her from her sobbing, docile state:
“Aggravating her.
