The staff of ozfortress have announced that prospective entrants for their third Ultimate Duo tournament will be able to sign-up from the 31st of July.

For those of you who aren’t aware, Ultimate Duo is a 2v2 tournament, where each team of one medic and one soldier engages in an intense close-quarters face off with another on a small enclosed map, in this case dm_fortress_2. It’s carried out in double elimination style, whereby losers get a chance at a comeback by conquering the loser’s bracket.

Interestingly, though ozfortress have stated that sign-ups are not yet open, the thread for signing up is apparently already taking names, with one entry so far. Whatever the case, if you’re interested make sure you read through the rules and acquaint yourself with the tournament structure before you register your team.
