Fallout 3 is a ‘better game than Oblivion’
Speaking in London last week, Bethesda Softworks vice president Pete Hines has said that their forthcoming post-apocalyptic offering will be better than their previous highly acclaimed masterpiece.

I have no doubts in my mind that, at its core and for everything that it provides that Fallout is a better game than Oblivion was.
Despite the futuristic setting of the 22nd and 23rd century, the game is heavily influenced by the post World War II paranoia of the 1950s.
Fallout 3 will utilise the Gamebryo game engine, the same as used for the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
But we’re also not oblivious to the fact that we have a lot of extra baggage that we’re carrying, being the guys picking up this franchise, that are re-imagining this series from 10 years ago, and there’s something that comes along with that.
Fallout 3 is due for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October this year. Bullet() Source: VideoGamerBullet() Related: Fallout 3: slavery, drugs and lots of talking
