Beta 1.4 of Fistful of Frags has arrived with a long list of new features, fixes, and changes. The FoF team have slapped together a trailer for the new release which you can watch over at Mod DB.

1.4 is a big deal for FoF. There’s a new item in the form of the whiskey jug - a tongue-in-cheek, western-style medi-pack. Two of the newer maps - fof_tijuana and fof_nowhere - have once again been redone, the Bounty game mode has been tweaked in a number of ways, and you can now wield dual Colt Peacemakers, as it was meant to be. Here’s a snippet from the change log:

Bounty game mode tweaked. There are even player number now, game mechanic is different: players are swapped to opposite team each round, so defense/attack is alternated. Vigilantes (defense) suffers an incremental respawn penalization when they die. Every player starts with 25 notoriety, vigilantes get normal notoriety by kills, desperados only can increase notoriety completing the objectives. Games last 5 rounds, notoriety isn?t restarted.
Dynamite max time to explode isn?t exact anymore, now it oscillates between 5 and 6 seconds.Check out the post on the official website for the full change log and links to download mirrors for the full and incremental versions of 1.4.
